Welcome to our charity website for 2023.
We look forward to a full sailing season with old friends and new after the Easter holidays and all the way through to the Autumn. If you are a regular sailor or group, you can be in touch now to discuss possible sessions. If you are a volunteer, it would be great to hear of your availability as we start planning the calendar. Happy sailing!
Purpose
We are here to enable local people with disabilities to come sailing on Windermere. Blackwell Sailing has been doing this since 1993 and is a registered charity. We are also an RYA Training Centre and have Accreditation with RYA Sailability.

Blackwell Sailing friends say thank you to David Hall
Sailors, volunteers and supporters gathered to honour David Hall to mark his retirement on board MV Swift for a cruise on Windermere. 92 friends gathered on June 10th 2022, for food and music that accompanied a cake, card and presentation gift to say thank you for being the founder/manager of Blackwell Sailing for over 25 years.
