If you are a group leader or individual and you wish to take part in a taster sailing session please get in touch. We can send you a Fact Sheet which will tell you all you need to know and what you need to bring. Go to the Contact Us page to email us and to see where we are.

We can also talk to you about the possibilities of regular sailing when spaces become available. The groups who currently come sailing are:  Whinfell School, Kendal; Day service groups from Kendal, Wigton and Penrith. The Vital Group (connected with South Lakes Sight Advice) and the Cumbria based students from Beaumont College.

Individual sailors come to sail with us as well and make use of our accessible facilities and specially chosen/adapted boats. We have a wheelchair accessible floating pontoon, a hoist for those who need it and two of our boats have the option of electrically assisted controls. 

All sessions are carefully planned in advance and led by a qualified leader, ably assisted by a band of experienced and trained volunteers.
